Astaxanthin is a Colouring agent that occurs naturally in plants and some yeasts. Like lutein and zeaxanthin, it belongs to the group of Carotinoids.
We have supplemented our pure, high-quality astaxanthin from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis comes from a specially developed cultivation facility in Austria, which guarantees our high quality standard. We have added natural vitamin E, which has been scientifically proven to help protect cells from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is the term used to describe the danger posed by so-called free radicals, for example from smoking, increased UV radiation or other harmful environmental influences.
Ingredients: Sunflower Oil (bulking agent), Gelatine, Glycerine (humectant), oleoresin rich in astaxanthin from the algae Haematococcus pluvialis (9 %), Vitamin E, Iron Oxide (colouring agent), antioxidants mixed natural tocopherols.
